Business and political leaders are claiming that the recession has bottomed out. Investor Warren Buffet has said, "We're past the critical point." According to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, the U.S. economy probably emerged from recession sometime during the third quarter.

For publishers the question now turns to how will they ride the wave of recovery.

Some publishers were damaged by the recession, while others thrived. Regardless of what happened to you, the period ahead will offer an opportunity for growth.
