Speak Up
I'd be interested in hearing what typical policies are for handling corrections to articles that have been placed online. For instance, if after a story has been posted you see a typo, do you just go in and fix it without further comment? What if it was in someone's name? What about factual errors? If something was believed true at the time of posting, but subsequent developments tell otherwise, how do you handle that? What if the difference was only of minor significance? In what ways are your correction policies for online matter different from those for print? Would be grateful for your responses. Thanks.
